Kletečná is the seventh highest peak of the Bohemian Central Highlands with its altitude of 706 metres. The mountain is located near the village of Kletečná near Velemín in the Litoměřice district. Due to its proximity and relatively similar shape, Kletečná is referred to as the smaller sister of Milešovka, with which it forms an inseparable panoramic symbol of the Bohemian Central Highlands.
The peak is wooded and there is no marked hiking trail leading to it. On the slopes you can find frost logs and slabby debris. There is an unmarked and relatively well traveled path to the summit. The green marked trail from Kletečná to Bílka passes along the northern foot of the peak, as does the yellow marked trail from Kletečná to Chotimér. The reward for climbing Kletečná is nice views of Milešovka and other nearby peaks of the Central Highlands. The hike is preferable to take the hike during the dormant season due to the forested peak.
Curses have attracted people since ancient times. This is evidenced by the discovery of two sickles from the Late Bronze Age, which were undoubtedly deposited here as cult objects.
The village of the same name - Kletečná, is situated in a magical saddle, from which we can visit the village of Stadice, where according to legend Přemysl Oráč was born. According to the story, the messengers of Princess Libuše, or even she herself, were in the countryside below Kletečná.
The village of Kletečná is a picturesque settlement below the eastern foot of the mountain. On an elongated, gently sloping grassy village square there is a chapel from the first half of the 19th century, the sculpture of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary from 1803 has not survived. At the crossroads below the village there is a monument to the abolition of the robots (the Kudlich monument - a plough on a high stone prismatic base, standing on several stone steps).
