Town hall
The original renaissance town hall was demolished before 1870 and was located on the site of today's city library.
The current neo-Renaissance town hall was built on the site of two medieval houses in 1869 according to the project of the builder Kuželovsky. The extension of the town hall, house no. 22, dates to 1899 -1900. The facade of the house was designed by Alois Samohrd and the frescoes were made by Láďa Novák. On the sides of the three-part window it is possible to see allegorical female figures depicting on the left "Self-Rule" and on the right "Justice".
